Timothée Chalamet Got a Fine During ‘A Complete Unknown’ London Premiere
Talk about making an entrance! Timothée Chalamet, the lead actor of the Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown for which he was nominated for a Golden Globes, rode an electric bike to his film’s London premiere.
Fined for Illegal Parking
Chalamet said he chose to ride an e-bike from Lime Micromibility, an e-scooter and e-bike rental company. He did this because he worried that he might not make it to the film’s premiere because of the traffic. In an interview with the French show Quotidien (via The Independent), Chalamet mentioned he received a £65 fine for parking the bike illegally. He told the host in fluent French (Oh, lala), “I got a £65 fine and actually it was horrible because it was actually kind of an advert for them.”
Photographer Aidan Zamiri, who rode together with Chalamet said he also received a parking fine, although it was only for £2 for “incorrect parking.”
After riding to the red carpet, Chalamet put down the bike’s kickstand and ended the ride via Lime’s app.
It seemed as though riding an e-bike to the red carpet wasn’t the only quirky antic Chalamet did during the press tour of his film. He channeled 2003 Bob Dylan appearance during the New York premiere of the movie with blond hair, a blue beanie, a leather coat and red flannel shirt, according to Rolling Stone.
In the Hollywood premiere of his movie, he also walked the red carpet looking sharp wearing a gray dress shirt under a leather blazer with an assortment of pins, black trousers and a pair of shades with Bob Dylan’s name on it. But what kept the press and fans talking was another accessory he was fiddling in his hands which is a Beyblade, per GQ. A Beyblade is a spinning top that is used for battling. It rose to popularity in 2000, thanks to an anime of the same name. It still remained popular and there are even professional leagues holding tournaments.
Thanks to Chalamet, these toys will once again enjoy popularity, or at least a renewed interest in how they can be used as a fashion accessory.
Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s Date Night
Us Weekly reported that after appearing on the Quotidien talk show, Chalamet enjoyed a date night with lady love, Kylie Jenner in the City of Love. The pair were spotted holding hands and stepped into Hotel Royal Monceau after dinner.
The pair have been dating since early 2023 and an insider told Page Six Jenner thinks Chalamet is “the one” and that she has “never felt like this about anybody else before and definitely sees a future with him.”
