Dua Lipa Doesn’t Have A Therapist But Has An Astrologist
Dua Lipa is all about having “radical optimism,” with the recent release of her album of the same name. Interestingly, Dua Lipa doesn’t have a therapist but has an astrologist.
Dua Lipa Doesn’t Have A Therapist
In a new interview with Dish, the “Houdini” singer confirmed that astrology is more beneficial for her than attending an hour session with a therapist. During her interview, the English-Albanian artist said if she has a dilemma, she asks, “What’s this month saying?”
Lipa, who celebrates her birthday on August 22nd, is a Leo. Leos are passionate, theatrical, loyal, and natural leaders. With most celebrities, you can look up their full astrology chart online, and Dua’s chart shows that she mostly has fire elements. This means that she is blessed with intuition, energy, courage, self-confidence, passion, and enthusiasm. She also has a lot of air in her chart, which makes her open to travel and flexible to new ideas.
She tells the publication in the Dish interview that she calls or texts her astrologer, Rosie, quite often. She even admits she used to get an astrological reading every year on her birthday, but “now I go a little bit deeper. I’m hooked.”
Back in January, Lipa, 28, told Rolling Stone that even though she tries to be “disciplined” in all aspects of her life, she is “not very good at therapy.” For her own self-care, she opts for meditation and yoga. She admits she has a harder time “locking” herself down to talk about how she feels. While she finds it really easy to communicate with her friends about everything, it’s because she has a strong relationship with them.
The Grammy-winner seems to cope with life’s difficulties in a healthy way, aware that “when things stay open, or not confronting a problem, you can get stuck in a loop of negativity, or upset, or what someone thinks of you, or the anxiety, or all those things.”

While celebrating the drop of her new ’70s-inspired psychedelia album, Lipa discussed on X (formerly Twitter) how she discovered the meaning behind “radical optimism” and how it changed her view of life. “Radical Optimism has helped me grow beyond belief,” she wrote in a note.
“I’m definitely not the same person when I started writing this album, and I’m grateful for every song that’s helped me be the person I am today.” She adds, “It has shifted my perspective with every song and made me stronger.”
