As soon as the temperature starts to go down and it starts getting dark earlier, I start watching thriller and horror movies. I also like to watch all of the Halloween or fall episodes of shows like The Office, Parks and Rec, Gilmore Girls, etc. Last year we plowed through “What We Do In The Shadows” on Hulu and that is one of the funniest shows I have ever watched. It’s perfect and an easy watch for Spooky Season if you’ve never seen it. I recently came across previews of two new movies coming out that I can’t wait to see. One stars Bill Scarsgard of the It movies. The other stars Pete Davidson. Check out the trailers below!

  • Meet Cute

This one starts off innocent but seems to maybe go a Swim Fan direction. The movie stars Pete Davidson and Kaley Cuoco. The two meet at a bar one night and hit it off immediately. Kaley has an unfortunate accident and comes across a time-traveling tanning bed. This makes her want to keep recreating the night the two met so she keeps traveling to that exact time until the night is perfect. Along the way however, she starts changing Pete’s life around a little to try and make it better. She keeps making it worse and doesn’t know how or when to quit. In the trailer, Kaley’s character definitely comes off as a person that just want to make sure everything is perfect all the time. Check out the trailer below!

  • Barbarian

This movie is definitely one that could get added to the permanent Halloween movie lineup. It stars Bill Scarsgard of the It movies and British TV actress Georgina Campbell. A woman has to go on a business trip to Detroit. When she arrives at her Airbnb she discovers that it is occupied by another tenant(Skarsgard). The tenant convinces her to stay and they would both figure everything out in the morning. While the woman is sleeping, she is awakened by her bedroom door opening, the the sudden noise of footsteps running down the hall. She then follows the hallway into a secret room and down into a dungeon only to discover that she hasn’t been the only one that has been convinced to stay the night. It’s in theaters now. Check out the trailer below!
