Bankrate curated a list of America's Best Places to Live in 2022. From the west coast to right here in North Carolina, people are loving where they live. To identify the best places, Bankrate examined the 100 largest metropolitan areas in the U.S. through the lens of one question: What makes a place livable and lovable? They considered factors such as:

  • What does it cost to live there?
  • How does it feel to live there?
  • Who is moving there?
