The Most Expensive Fast Food Place In The Carolinas

Inflation isn’t just a problem at the pump. It’s also affecting how much you pay for your favorite fast-food meals here in the Carolinas. The company Pricelisto finds that the price of those fast-food meals increased by about 13% last year. There are still deals to be found but Wendy’s isn’t one of those places.

According to Pricelisto, Wendy’s is officially the most expensive fast-food chain in the nation. Need an example? While a Big Bacon Classic Combo will set you back $11.11. Fortunately, there are still deals to be found. McDonald's has decreased its menu prices by 5% and the price of Burger King’s Whopper is 27 cents less than last year.

Wendy’s is now the most expensive fast-food chain in the nation. More specifically, prices went up 35 percent due to inflation last year.

Chick-fil-A had the second highest price increase of the year at 15.6 percent. The average meal costs $4.65. This is likely because the price of chicken has gone up 17 percent.

A bucket of fried chicken, has an average menu price of $14.45—an increase of 4.77 percent. 

The average item price is currently $4.34. An increase of 2.57 percent from last year.

Good news! The price of ground beef is down. Because of that, McDonald's decreased its menu prices by 5 percent in 2022.
