North Carolina Town Ranks No. 1 in Destinations for Foodies in the US

Got a big appetite? If so, then this list might be the right place for you. Each year, Yelp compiles a list of the ultimate food destinations for those who enjoy all there is about a meal. 2022 is no different, except this time North Carolina went a little overboard with great destinations.

Yelp's 'Small Towns, Big Flavor' list has three North Carolina towns making an appearance. To compile the list, researchers looked into cities with the highest restaurant ratings from out-of-town visitors and overall Yelp reviews. This list consists of towns/cities with a population under 250,000. Not only is North Carolina in three spots, but we are also home to the No. 1 foodie destination.
