If you have been to the store lately, you've probably noticed the lack of items. I was just at the grocery store last week doing my Thanksgiving shopping and I was shocked to see the shelves bare!
Publix is putting a limit on how many items can be purchased per visit as the holiday food rush gets underway. This is due to the pandemic and slow supply chains. Publix has set these limits through the stores in all seven states in which they operate. This includes North Carolina.
As of right now, there’s no time limit on this policy. There may be items later added or removed from the list. You can see the current list of items Publix has limited to two per customer in their stores below. You can more on this list here. I am sure glad I got my bacon and cream cheese a week in advance!
