Happy New Music Friday! Some Fridays are slower in the new music world than others. This would be considered a busy Friday! There are three artists featured this week on the Friday 5 that if you haven’t gotten familiar with, I’d love for you to take this opportunity to do so.
First, there’s Renee Rap. You might know her if you watch HBO’s hit show, The Sex Lives of College Girls. You may also know her from Broadway. She’s a phenomenal singer and released a new song today. Then there’s jxdn. If you’re into TikTok then you may know him from various things on the social media platform. Or maybe you’re a Machine Gun Kelly fan and saw him open up for him. Maybe you’ve never heard of him at all. Either way, he’s also phenomenal. Last June, he lost his best friend. This song is for him. It’s beautiful. Noah Kahan is also somebody you may have never heard of. His album, Stick Season, has been so viral on TikTok. He released an extended version of the album today featuring 7 new songs and one of them is featured today.
Then of course, there’s Niall Horan and Shawn Mendes who at this stage in their careers need no introduction. Enjoy!
