Whether you are residing in the high country, the coastal plain, or somewhere in the middle chances are you are close to somewhere with a lot of money. But what are the richest places in South Carolina?

HomeSnacks.com set out to find out. Things that they took into account: high-paying jobs, safe cities and neighborhoods, gold star schools, and high-end amenities. Other things considered were unemployment rates, median income, and poverty rates. The locations are actually fairly spread out you've got the suburbs of Charlotte, of course, the greater Charleston area, as well as areas around Columbia.
