It’s another Summer weekend in Charlotte, and yes… it will be hot.

The weather is in the 90s this weekend, but that hasn’t stopped us before, and it won’t stop us this time. There is still a ton of fun stuff going on around town this weekend.

Whether you’re looking for something outdoor, or indoor, kid-friendly, or not, there is something for everyone.

While there are plenty more events to check out around Charlotte this week, here are my top picks of some events to check out.

• Queen City’s Black Heritage Tour

  This event takes place at 200 N. College St. You’ll get to walk through the city and hopefully view it in a new light. Explore historic sites of the once-thriving Black neighborhood of Brooklyn, and learn how Charlotte’s Black community was crucial to building the city. The event starts at 10am on Friday and costs $15-$20.

• Wooden Robot Brewery 7th Anniversary at The Chamber in NoDa

  On Saturday, there will be live music, food trucks, local vendors and live mural painting at the Chamber in Noda to celebrate the 2 year anniversary. This event runs from noon to 11:45pm and is free to attend.

• Red Bull 3X Basketball Qualifier at Huntersville Recreation Center

  Basketball lovers, you may want to check this out on Saturday! Red Bull and Team USA have partnered up to host a series of qualifying games to identify elite men’s and women’s players who could represent USA Basketball in future competitions. get ready to compete and be there from noon to 6:20pm.

• Dog Days of Summer TAILgate at 704 Morris St.

  Ever wondered why dogs can’t come to tailgates, well this one is made specifically for them. On Saturday, bring  your pups to enjoy pre-game pet vendors and food trucks before Charlotte FC takes on Nashville SC.  the event if free to attend.

• Charlotte FC vs Nashville SC

  Root on our soccer team this Saturday as they take on Nashville SC. For this game, they’ll even be opening the top deck too!  The game starts at 7pm. Tickets start at $20

• Bike & Brunch at Devil’s Logic Brewing

  Get out your bike and ride with Devil’s Logic on a 12-mile bike ride through the city on Sunday, then enjoy brunch after the ride. This event starts at 9am and it free!

• Dog Adoption Event at Devil’s Logic Brewing

  Looking to expand your family with a pet? Stop by this event on Sunday with Fighting Chance Ranch & Rescue. 11am. Free

• Post-Roe Rally in First Ward Park

  Looking for a way to protest the Roe v. Wade decision from the supreme court. This event on Sunday will be exactly that.  5-7pm. Free.

• R&B with Soul Food Tour at Camp North End

  Camp North End is hosting this event on Saturday where you can listen to your favorite R&B while visiting soul food spots around the city. The event starts at 5pm and costs $120.
