Cameron’s Favorite Charlotte Gift Shops To Try This Holiday Season

Christmas is coming up fast, and with the unreliability of mail these days, ordering online can seem a bit risky. It’s unfortunate, because a lot of people like to find unique gifts online that they can’t find anywhere else. Well, the truth is, while you may not be able to find some of those super unique gifts at big box stores, there are plenty of unique gift shops here in the Charlotte area where you can find gifts this holiday season.

Here are some of the shops I love to go to while gift shopping.

  • Paper Skyscraper

    This one has been around forever! My parents used to shop for gifts here when I was a baby, and now I am. It’s probably the first place I think of when I need to get a gift for someone and have no idea what to get. They have every kinds of gift idea you wouldn’t even be able to think of here.

  • Archer Paper Goods

    This shop is located in Optimist Hall, so you can shop while you grab lunch one day! They have lots of greeting cards, adorable wrapping paper choices, and sparkler candles.

  • Moxie Mercantile

    In the heart of Plaza Midwood lies this little shop! Last year, I went shopping here and on top of having lost of clothes, they also have a great selection of smaller gifts like puzzles, ornaments, jewelry, and home décor.

  • The Beehive

    If you’re headed into uptown, this shop is in Overstreet Mall. This shop has everything from gifts, to Christmas décor, and you’ll definitely be in the Christmas spirit after shopping here as it is super festive.

  • 704 Shop

    You can find all things 704 at this shop in South End. If you have someone who is new to the city, or who has lived here their whole life, a little city swag is always good. 704 clothes would also be an awesome Secret Santa gift too.

  • Charlotte Collective

    Another Plaza Midwood shop that has tons of trendy items. I used to live right next to this store, and it was always way too tempting. One of my favorite shirts, that I always get compliments is from this shop, too!

  • Girl Tribe

    Do you have a girl in your life who loves all things trendy? You can find her a gift at this South End shop!
