Summer is winding down and school is about to start back up. Do you need one last relaxing weekend before the crazy begins? What about staying in Charlotte for a staycation? We are lucky to have some incredible hotels in the Charlotte area with great amenities so you don't even have to leave the city for an exciting weekend. Whether you want to check into the hotel and not leave until checkout, have a location perfect for activities, or bring the kids there's something for everyone!

Many of these hotels are in Uptown but offer a wide variety of amenities and experiences. Others are nested in other neighborhoods. Large hotels and resorts or boutique spots both are fantastic options! Need a spa and golf for your perfect weekend? No problem! Charlotte has countless hotels and each of them is unique in its own way. This list is just some of our favorites that we think would make for a last hoorah before summer ends! Most of this list is more catered towards adults, though your kids could enjoy them. But we had to give you one good option at the end for a kid-friendly Charlotte staycation!
