Looking for a weekend getaway in South Carolina? There are many small towns to visit close by to take some time away from a busy city. Growing up in South Carolina, I have been to and heard of many small towns with a rich history to learn about. South Carolina has so many beautiful hidden gems for you to enjoy this Summer.

Have you ever wondered how small towns can get in South Carolina? Trust me, it gets really small. From towns with roughly 500 people like McClellanville or those with a few thousand like Walterboro. There are many small towns that will allow you to truly enjoy time with each other. From exploring, learning the history, or just relaxing in a quiet scene.
