Taylor Swift attends the 65th GRAMMY Awards on February 05, 2023 in Los Angeles, California.

The 65th annual Grammy Awards is a night for records to be broken. To be eligible for nominations, recordings are released from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022. Per the Recording Academy’s guidelines, these recordings must be “commercially released, nationally distributed and available from within the eligibility period” to qualify. Powerhouse artists like Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Lizzo and Adele all released new music during the eligibility period.

This year’s awards will also include five new categories, including Songwriter Of The Year (Non-Classical), Best Alternative Music Performance and Best Americana Performance. There’ll also be a special merit award for Best Song For Social Change.

The awards ceremony takes place Sunday, February 5 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles at 8 pm ET on CBS and Paramount+ with host Trevor Noah for the third year in a row. Musical performances will be made by current nominees Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Mary J. Blige, Brandi Carlile, Luke Combs, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Kim Petras and Sam Smith.
