GALLERY: My Weekend Trip Visiting DuPont State Forest

I am obsessed with waterfalls!

I love that we can take an easy 2-hour drive to the mountains living here in Charlotte and that's just what I decided to do this past Saturday. During my trip to DuPont State Forest, my boyfriend and I hiked around 7 miles and stopped at three iconic waterfalls including High Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Triple Falls, and Hooker Falls. My favorite was going under the waterfall in Hooker Falls. Carefully, you can shimmy under the falls and slide into a crisp swimming hole! These are some impressive falls and makes for a fun day trip. If you decide to make the journey, make sure you snag a cool waterfall photo.

P.S. BE CAREFUL!!! The rocks are super slippery.
