Cameron From Kiss 95.1 Is ENGAGED!

This past weekend, I was expecting to spend my time painting our house, doing yard work, and deep cleaning as we are preparing to list our house on the market. Instead, to my surprise... I GOT ENGAGED!

My boyfriend (now fiancé) and I have been on so many weekend trips recently, that we were super excited to have a relaxing Charlotte weekend. We decided on Saturday, we were going to have what we consider a perfect Saturday morning.

We woke up late, went at got pastries at one of our favorite local bakeries in our neighborhood, Vilani's Bakery, then we took our dog Tanner on a nice long walk around Freedom Park. The weather on Saturday was absolutely beautiful too, which definitely helped.

After our walk, we went and split a delicious sandwich from Cheats Cheesesteak, and my boyfriend Shelton mentioned how he wanted to stop and get a beer at Catawba Brewing before we head home. Catawba Brewery is where we first met in July of 2020, after talking virtually for over a month. It was COVID so we were being extra cautious before we met in person.

We started walking up to Catawba and as soon as we got on the patio, Shelton bent down and asked me to marry him. My favorite part of the story, and possible the most "us" moment of the whole proposal was that the ring was upside down when he proposed! That's why you can hear my laughing in the video.

Of course, I said yes, and then an amazing Fall morning in Charlotte turned into a day I will remember for the rest of my life.
