CMPD Explorers Christmas Project Toy Drive

November 22 - December 11

The goal of the CMPD Explorers Christmas Project toy drive is to provide assistance to families that may experience an emergency situation during the Holidays. These family referrals come from Police Officers and Firefighters that respond to emergency calls for service during the holidays. It’s the season of giving, and CPI Security is working hard to make a difference in our community. Our employees join together to support holiday outreach projects at each of our CPI branch offices. We raised more than $36,000 in gifts for 189 children across our footprint last year.

CPI Security is once again joining the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and the CMPD Police Explorers for their annual toy drive to provide Christmas for less fortunate families in the Charlotte region. We have proudly partnered with the CMPD Explorers Christmas project for over 15 years, delivering holiday cheer to thousands of deserving children. This has been a tough year for a lot of us, and our amazing employees can’t wait to fill up our warehouse with gifts and give back to children and families in need. In addition to a corporate donation, CPI and its employees are fundraising and shopping for 50 children. A small group of CPI employees will also accompany CMPD officers to deliver gifts to families the week before Christmas. We are encouraging people throughout the community to get involved and help local children and families have a merry Christmas.

A program of this size goes well beyond the reach of what the CMPD and the Explorer Post can do on their own. It is only through the generous giving of other people that we can meet the need that is present in our community.

There are several ways for individuals and groups to get involved and help us meet our goal this year which include:
