Some say money cant buy happiness, what if you could pay someone to cook or clean for you? What if you had 10 million dollars for one day? That might change your mind!We came across a study which shows that it’s not necessarily about how much money you have, but what you do with it. Seems if you can use your money to buy yourself free time, like say hiring someone to clean or cook for you, you’ll be much, much happier.
Researchers talked to more than 6,000 adults regarding how much money they spent to buy themselves free time, along with their life satisfaction, and their stress levels when it came to the amount of free time they had. What they found was that those who used their money to find ways to have more free time were more satisfied with their life.
Maney and Roy actually bet LauRen that she couldn’t spend 10 million in one day if she had to. We’re gonna see if she can.. can you say HAPPPYYYYYY?!?!? Listen below and let us know if you think money can buy happiness @theMRLshow .
