Barbershop-goers in Massachusetts were unknowingly getting their haircuts from a legally blind barber. We gave Anthoni with an I our best blindfolded haircut.
Joel Nixon of Massachusetts received $100,000 as a settlement for being wrongly fired due to discrimination. Nixon has retinitis pigmentosa, which affects peripheral vision and makes it hard for him to see at night. He had been working at Tony’s Barber Shop in Norton, MA, for a year before his boss discovered his condition.
In good fun this morning, Roy and LauRen took to staff member Anthoni’s head with razor…while they wore blindfolds. Don’t worry, no one was hurt! Except maybe Anthoni’s chance at finding a date any time soon…
