Kayla Jean Oxendine is a member of the Lumbee Tribe of NC and a native of Pembroke, NC. Kayla attended college at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2013 and a Masters in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016. Her credentials include being a Nationally Certified Counselor and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in the state of NC, transformation specialist, motivational speaker, and Ordained Minister. Kayla is currently employed as a counselor by Lumbee Regional Developmental Association. Kayla takes great pride in being a true humanitarian and is devoted to the uplifting every individual she meets and intends there will be no one diminished in her presence.
