Talk about a crazy Thursday at the MRL show! Today had everyone shook after the phone call from one of our listener friends called in and asked LauRen if she would fill in for his wife that passed away recently and take his 14 year-old daughter shopping for their annual Christmas tradition. His daughter really looks up to LauRen, and LauRen being the notable fashion blogger that she is, was his daughters first choice to help her with the task.
HOWEVER…
Things turned weird fast as the man wanted LauRen to stay with him and his daughter in their suite at a hotel in Florida where he offered to pay for her entire trip, transportation, stay, and even 1000$ for her own shopping expenses. But that’s not the craziest part! He got heated when she asked if her son and husband could come along for the trip, for safety precautions of course, and the man retaliated! It got creepy fast, and seemed more like a scam than a charity event.
