Smashburger opened a fresh spot in Huntersville at Rosedale, North Carolina, on Friday. This marks the chain's fourth site in the state. The 1,600-square-foot eatery at 12905 Rosedale Hill Ave. shows how the brand keeps expanding into important markets across the country.
You'll find the Huntersville restaurant near Interstate 77 at Gilead Road. BeBurgers LLC owns it and runs the operation. Managing Owner Kevin Bailey works with partners Carolyn Bailey, Cathy Edwards, and Aaron Edwards.
"We've been getting back to what Smashburger does best," said Jim Sullivan, CEO of Smashburger, according to PRNewswire. "Opening in Huntersville at Rosedale is a great example of that momentum coming to life. We are proud to work with franchisees who share our passion for great quality and guest experiences, and we are excited to welcome a new community to Smashburger."
BeBurgers runs two other spots in the greater Charlotte market — one at Kingsley in Fort Mill, South Carolina, and another at Randolph in Charlotte. The group joined the system more than six years ago and continues to help the brand grow across the region.
"What drew us to Smashburger, and what keeps us invested, is the food and the company's unwavering commitment to doing things the right way," said Kevin Bailey. "The brand delivers incredible flavor, real variety, and consistent value, and guests can taste the difference in every bite. We're excited to bring that experience to Huntersville, and we see strong opportunity to continue growing with Smashburger across the Carolinas and the broader region."
This opening caps off a strong year. The chain has pushed hard on franchise deals and market expansion. Menu changes brought an expanded everyday value tier, a Scorchin' lineup, and limited-time offers rolled out through the months.
The fast-casual company made smashed burgers famous. It's known for Certified Angus Beef burgers, which get smashed on the grill to lock in flavor and create a signature sear. You'll also find all-Angus hot dogs, Crispy Chicken Sandwiches, Deluxe Chicken Smash, hand-spun shakes, and sides like SmashFries and SmashTots.
Founded in 2007, the chain calls Denver, Colorado, home. Jollibee Foods Corporation owns it. The brand operates 190 sites across 29 U.S. states and six countries.
