John Legend Bringing ‘An Evening of Songs & Stories’ Tour to Charlotte This May
EGOT winner John Legend will perform at Ovens Auditorium on May 17 as part of his 2026 An Evening of Songs & Stories tour. The show starts at 8 p.m.

The tour spans the East Coast, with stops in California and the Midwest thrown in. It kicks off in Clearwater, Florida, come March.
Legend has racked up GRAMMY awards across two decades. His first album dropped 20 years back.
Concertgoers will hear hits like "All of Me" and "Ordinary People." Expect favorites from his award-winning albums throughout the night.
This tour arrives more than a month after his Get Lifted Tour wrapped in December 2025. That run celebrated his debut album's 20th birthday.
Before Charlotte, Legend performs at the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts in Greensboro on May 16. He'll also hit the Charleston Gaillard Center on March 24.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Jan. 23, at 10 a.m. on Ticketmaster.
