USA Today readers picked Charlotte Douglas as the tenth-best airport for dining in America. With 60 spots to grab food and drinks, the airport stands out among major travel hubs.

Tampa's airport claimed the top spot in the rankings. Denver's hub took second, while New Orleans grabbed third. Orlando and Salt Lake City rounded out the top five spots in the contest.

Local spots make the Charlotte airport special. Travelers can stop at Bad Daddy's for burgers, sip craft beer at NoDa Brewing, or visit Captain Jack's Tavern run by Olde Mecklenburg Brewery.

Want a taste of North Carolina? Brookwood Farms cooks up smoky pit barbecue right at the terminal. The famous Bojangles chicken draws lines of hungry flyers between gates.

Many pick the Atrium to eat their meals. The space, known for its wooden rocking chairs, gives travelers a chance to unwind while watching planes take off.

After the top five came Phoenix's Sky Harbor, then Minneapolis-Saint Paul's airport. Detroit Metro and Miami International took eighth and ninth. Charlotte Douglas capped the list at number ten.

The airport's food ranking marks its second big win this year. Earlier, it nabbed the second spot among large airports nationwide in a separate USA Today poll.

A panel chose which airports could compete for the dining title. Then regular travelers voted to pick the winners with the tastiest options.
