There are so many things to think about when you think about Thanksgiving. The Thanksgiving dinner, what time the dinner will be, and who will be invited for this year's dinner?

This year, will you have fried turkey or traditional oven turkey? And what sides will there be, stuffing, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and will there be Cranberry sauce? Some people love Cranberry sauce, and some don't. Cranberry sauce is actually one of the least favorite holiday dishes, according to Campbell's.

And then there is one thing that not everybody has, but it's a necessity for some families: a Thanksgiving centerpiece. If you look on YouTube, there are many ideas for building a Thanksgiving centerpiece, so it can be difficult, but some could be very simple. Or you can just order one from a local flower shop.

In the Charlotte area, we did some digging and found some flower shops, where, for the next couple of days you can still order and get your Thanksgiving centerpiece.

Tradition of The Centerpiece

On the table, a centerpiece is a central object which serves a decorative purpose. However, centerpieces are often not too large, to avoid difficulty with visibility around the table and to allow for the easier serving of dishes. Many centerpieces are often made from flowers, candles, fruit, or candy.

Centrepieces are often a major part of the decoration for Thanksgiving. They often consist of seasonal fruits and vegetables: Pumpkins, pears, apples, cinnamon sticks, figs, persimmons, artichokes, and decorative cabbage.

Many also have flowers, including Mums, geraniums, and umbrella ferns. Some have greenery: fall leaves, rosemary, ivy, eucalyptus, and olive branches. And some have candles arranged in a wreath or votive candles placed in gaps in a garland.
