The Halloween holiday is over, and we start to focus our thoughts on Thanksgiving. But we also start to focus our thoughts on gift-giving. There’s only less than two months till Christmas, and it comes upon us pretty quickly.

These days, so many of us like to shop online on Amazon or online retailers that can get our gifts here within a week, two weeks, or sometimes a couple of days. However, some of us old schoolers like to still be able to into a shop, buy a gift, have it wrapped, and bring it home.

Brick And Mortar Stores

Fortunately, there are still several brick-and-mortar shops and physical places where you can go this holiday season and get into the holiday season where you can buy just the right gift while touching it and physically seeing what you’re giving your loved ones.

We took a look here in Charlotte to see some great places where you can get those just right holiday gifts before Christmas Day.

NASCAR Hall of Fame Gear Shop

For the racing fan in your life, pick up a souvenir from the Gear Shop at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Here you’ll find exclusive NASCAR Hall of Fame merchandise, along with NASCAR driver- and team-specific items, such as diecasts, hats, T-shirts, and even gifts for your pet.

Don’t forget to visit the official team stores for the Hornets (Spectrum Center), Panthers and Charlotte FC (Bank of America Stadium), Checkers (Bojangles Coliseum), and Knights (Truist Field) for licensed merchandise.

They are located at 400 East Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. in Charlotte and their hours are Monday – Sun day from 10 AM – 5 PM. They are closed on Tuesdays for private groups.

Paper Skyscraper

Paper Skyscraper is a popular local gift store filled with Charlotte- and North Carolina-themed goodies. Find tabletop books that showcase the Queen City’s skyline and history, uniquely shaped planters, and even a line of soy candles named after local neighborhoods.

They are located at 330 East Blvd in Charlotte and they open daily at 10 AM.

Nancy Brooks has been working in the country music industry for almost 30 years. She has interviewed pretty much any country star you can think of.
