There’s a whole new wave of Gen Z graduates entering the workforce. They’re facing new challenges that other generations didn’t have to worry about – like AI. Microsoft’s new Work Trend Index Report found that 76% of employees think that AI skills are now needed to remain competitive. So how can recent Gen Z grads stand out?

Co-founder of Parkway Venture Capital, Gregg Hill, has some tips for Gen Zers who want to be aggressive in the job market. He says that by doing these five things, you have a better chance of landing your dream job. Forbes listed them for us.

  1. You should talk about AI in every interview because if you don’t, you’re actually at a disadvantage. You should have an understanding of how to use AI tools.
  2. You should be creative and forward-thinking, knowing and understanding how you can use the latest AI update or advancement in the job.
  3. You should know that Fortune 500 companies are looking for their AI expert. By becoming the go-to person for AI insights, you are gaining job security.
  4. Show that you have a hunger to learn and know that no one will teach you. One way you can do this is by surrounding yourself with a network of people who understand AI.
  5. You shouldn’t view AI as the enemy, and instead see it as an ally. AI is here, whether you like it or not.

The World’s Top Dream Jobs

Hopefully you're not sitting at work HATING what you do, but not all of us get to work out our dream job. Life just doesn't work out like that. Many of us are okay just working our 9 to 5's and going home to live our lives from 5 to 9.

I could list a few "dream jobs": actor, influence, travel photographer. Well a new survey revealed what most people in the world consider to be the biggest dream job, and the answer may surprise you.

Here are the dreamiest jobs, according to a survey by Remitly!

10.) Teacher

Teachers in North Carolina have to deal with low pay and a lot of other problems, but around the world, it is still considered to be a dream job for most.

9.) Singer

Being a singer used to be my dream job, and it seems to be a lot of others too!

8.) Programmer

They didn't go into detail about what kind of programming, but it did make the list!

7.) Influencer

I would venture to guess this would be the answer for all of Gen Z if you were to ask them about their dream job.

6.) Actor

Actor is probably one of the dream jobs you could have guessed!

5.) Entrepreneur

What could be better than being your own boss?

4.)YouTuber

Turns out, most people would be okay filming their life on the daily.

3.) Dancer

If I could only dance, I would agree with this one.

2.) Writer

This is one of the only ones on the list I would have to disagree with, but I've never been too good at writing.

1.) Pilot

There you have it! The most dreamy job is a pilot!
