A Missouri restaurant has stirred online debate with its unusual age policy aimed at maintaining a “sophisticated” atmosphere. Bliss restaurant in St. Louis requires women to be at least 30 and men to be at least 35 to dine there. The policy, explained in a Facebook post, is intended to attract a mature clientele and avoid the disruptions often associated with the youngsters. I'm not sure I like the idea of an age minimum.

Despite some backlash, owner Marvin Pate and assistant manager Erica Rhodes stand by the rule, believing it creates a relaxing, resort-like environment. The NY Post reports it's not all negative. Though some have protested the restrictions, others have commented saying, “Love this cuz not only it’s for the mature crowd but it makes you wanna go out again without the nonsense.”

6 Places To Get Restaurant Quality Hot Dogs In Charlotte

July 19th is National Hot Dog Day. It's celebrated every summer on the third Wednesday in July. And before I go any further I'm going to preface this by saying I will not be celebrating. I'm just not a hot dog fan. No one can tell me exactly what is in one, and I just can't accept that. I need to know exactly what I'm eating. But despite my refusal to eat one of these dogs (side note can you call them a sandwich yes or no?), they are a wildly popular food in America. And we love hot dogs here in Charlotte and the rest of North Carolina. No matter if you choose to eat them with slaw and chili, mustard, or relish. I'll take your word for what's the best!

You typically think of hot dogs as gracing the menu at a backyard cookout. Or perhaps at a cart in the middle of the city. They aren't the most common dish to see on a menu at a restaurant, however. So if you are looking to indulge in the celebration of this classic American fare, and don't want to cook for yourself, where should you go? That's where I'm here to help. I've compiled a list of some of the restaurants that serve hot dogs in Charlotte. Though I cannot personally vouch for which are the best, I'll give you as much info as I can to help you pick the spot you want to try. Or go all out for National Hot Dog Day and try them all. No judgment here!
