What’s been irritating you lately? As much as we try to let things go so we’re not bothered by them, it’s not always easy to do. What gets under one person’s skin may never even begin to bother someone else, but a new survey finds some common things that are currently annoying many of us.

The new poll by Talker asks 2-thousand American adults about what’s been annoying them the most in the last few months. It turns out politicians are near the top of the list, but there’s actually one thing that people find even more annoying … outrageous prices at the grocery store. Nearly half (47%) of respondents say this is the biggest annoyance in their lives recently.

Here's my short list of current annoying things people are doing.

People who want you to do their jobs for them...Like; do your thing and I'll do mine! I was at a box store a few weeks ago and the woman in front of me was checking out. The checkout person said "I don't see a price can you go find one with a sticky price tag on it?" The woman did! I would've said uhhh check the computer or forget it all together ha!

The other thing that annoys me is people who don't keep their yards up. I get life that can get hectic but man at some point mow the grass or pay someone to do it.

Lastly I'm totally annoyed by the traffic light by myself. The timing is off and it only stays green for like 10 seconds. I called the city - but they haven't fixed it. So I just call it a "yellow green" haha!

How Americans Play Lottery and What They’d Do If They Won

Tonight is the big night people.  It is the Mega Millions drawing and Americans are ready to win the money! What if you won the lottery? My first thing would be paying off my bills, putting some away, and then most likely I would take a vacation.

The US has had a handful of record-setting lottery jackpots this year, and Americans are looking to get in on the action. A new report shows nearly a quarter of Americans play the lottery at least once a month, and almost half (44%) say they play more when there’s a big jackpot on the line.

Those who do strike it rich often try to keep the winnings quiet. 83% of Americans say they wouldn’t want to tell others if they won. Significant others are in luck though - people say they’d give their SO a little more than 25%, but also said they’d expect more than 25% if the roles were reversed. You can take a look at the full report here.

Nearly 50% say they would need to win at least $4 million in order to quit their job

Top purchases after winning: home, vacation, car

70% would take winnings as a lump sum
