According to the North Carolina Education Lottery, Jalen from Raleigh asked his sister to pick out a scratch off ticket for him. She chose a 10 dollar Jumbo Bucks ticket from the Volero on South McPherson Church Road in Fayetteville. They both sat down together to scratch it off. This North Carolina teenager wins a 1 million dollar lottery. And his sister Dasha said Jalen just had a huge smile on his face. McLean is the youngest of five kids.
Here's What He Plans To Do With The Money
According to our source, wxii12.com, "He could choose to receive the prize as an annuity of $50,000 over 20 years or a lump sum of $600,000. McLean chose the annuity of $50,000. For the next 19 years, until he is 38, he’ll get a check for $50,000 until the full $1 million prize is paid." This gives Jalen lots of time to choose what he wants to do in the future. He has already received his first payment. After taxes he got a check for $35,753. The 18 year old says the first thing he is going to do with his prize money is buy an Audi.
