A family outing to California's "Clam Capital of the World" in Pismo Beach proved to be an expensive lesson when Charlotte Russ's kids innocently collected 72 clams, mistaking them for seashells. The problem was that the family didn’t have a fishing license so this little “whoopsie” resulted in an initial $89-thousand fine from wildlife officials according to ABC7.
Though the staggering penalty was later reduced to $500, the mother of five lamented that the ordeal "ruined our trip" yet taught her children to respect wildlife regulations. Making light of the harmless mix-up, Russ commemorated her "win" with a shellfish tattoo, acknowledging the "unforgettable" and expensive trip.
I don't like this story! I mean come on it was an honest mistake by her kids! It's not like they were poachers! I mean clams look just like shells. I'm glad they lowered the fine, but they could've used the clams for a clam bake. Money raised could be used to pay her fine haha!

Margarita

Waste away with five simple ingredients: Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, ice and kosher salt. Don't waste your time with sour mix.
Negroni

The Negroni is equal parts London dry gin, Campari and vermouth rosso, and it's equal parts satisfying and refreshing.
Pina Colada

Rum, pineapple juice, coconut cream and ice all blended together, the Pina Colada is an island paradise in a glass, regardless of whether or not you enjoy getting caught in the rain.
Mai Tai

You could serve this tropical delight in a tiki-style glass, but a standard large Collins glass is just as fun with this dark rum-based cocktail.
Paloma

The Paloma has had a bit of a resurgence, and it's understandable why. Tequila, lime juice, and grapefruit soda on the rocks? What's not to love?
Hurricane

Saving the sweetest for last. A Hurricane is like dessert in a glass! Created in New Orleans, this dark rum, passion fruit syrup and lemon juice cocktail is traditionally garnished with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry. Laissez le bon temps rouler, indeed!
