Have you ever thought about just walking out of your job? I mean leaving the building and never returning? If you have, you're not alone. Workers across the country are saying that one of their major regrets is not leaving their jobs sooner. If you're fighting work-life balance and happiness, here is why it might be better to quit your job.

Happiness Factor:

I'm of the belief that you shouldn't hate what you do for work, nor should you have to survive a toxic workplace environment. Studies have shown that when employees are happy at work, they are more engaged, and they contribute more to the company as a whole.

Happiness has an effect on productivity, and it's no surprise that happier employees work harder. When I worked at a grocery store as a teen, I loved working with my co-workers and although we laughed a bunch, the work was always done on time, and it made us more productive as a team. If you're not feeling happy or productive, it might be better to quit your job.

The Salary Factor:

Of course, we want to get paid to feed ourselves and take that occasional trip to the beach once a year. So, what happens when you don't get that promotion you've been working for, or that raise you were promised never comes through?

Here is a study done by the Harvard Business Review.

The World’s Top Dream Jobs

Hopefully you're not sitting at work HATING what you do, but not all of us get to work out our dream job. Life just doesn't work out like that. Many of us are okay just working our 9 to 5's and going home to live our lives from 5 to 9.

I could list a few "dream jobs": actor, influence, travel photographer. Well a new survey revealed what most people in the world consider to be the biggest dream job, and the answer may surprise you.

Here are the dreamiest jobs, according to a survey by Remitly!

10.) Teacher

Teachers in North Carolina have to deal with low pay and a lot of other problems, but around the world, it is still considered to be a dream job for most.

9.) Singer

Being a singer used to be my dream job, and it seems to be a lot of others too!

8.) Programmer

They didn't go into detail about what kind of programming, but it did make the list!

7.) Influencer

I would venture to guess this would be the answer for all of Gen Z if you were to ask them about their dream job.

6.) Actor

Actor is probably one of the dream jobs you could have guessed!

5.) Entrepreneur

What could be better than being your own boss?

4.)YouTuber

Turns out, most people would be okay filming their life on the daily.

3.) Dancer

If I could only dance, I would agree with this one.

2.) Writer

This is one of the only ones on the list I would have to disagree with, but I've never been too good at writing.

1.) Pilot

There you have it! The most dreamy job is a pilot!
