SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA - NOVEMBER 04: More than thousand South Koreans make Kimchi to donate to the poor in preparation for the winter at the City Hall of Seoul on November 4, 2016 in Seoul, South Korea. Kimchi is a traditional Korean dish of fermented vegetables usually mixed with chilli and eaten with rice or served as a side dish to a main meal.

The most confusing food in the fold is Korea’s kimchi. The traditional dish is made of salted and fermented vegetables like napa cabbage or Korean radish, topped with an array of seasonings. But if you aren’t familiar, you aren’t alone just under 1 million (946,090) people a year are asking Google what it is.
