Popular Publication Says This Charlotte Diner Is The Best In North Carolina
A popular publication revealed that it’s a Charlotte diner that is the best in North Carolina. Sometimes you just want or need good old-fashioned diner food. There is nothing better for late nights or early mornings. Breakfast all day? Yes, please! Endless cups of decent but not necessarily good coffee? It just tastes better in a diner, usually with a nostalgic retro theme. Can something be nostalgic if you weren’t alive when it was trendy?
But regardless you can see those probably sliver and red striped booths in your mind. Vintage Coca-Cola signs and a jukebox. I can already taste the greasy burger and milkshake. Reader’s Digest compiled a list of the single best diner in every state. And it was a Charlotte establishment, Midnight Diner, that was named the best in North Carolina. Reader’s Digest says that they awarded the best of the best by ” thoroughly investigating customer ratings, TripAdvisor scores, and local gossip to find the absolute best diner in every state.”
Midnight Diner you may recall from it’s previous location at the edge of Southend. But it recently picked up and moved (yes the entire diner reloated) to 420 East Trade Street. It’s now within eyesight of the Spectrum Center perfect for the pre or post-Hornets game meal. Or a late-night snack after one of the many concerts at the venue? The best part about Midnight Diner and most diners in fact is that it is open 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Prices are affordable, especially for this economy. The menu features your favorite all-day breakfast items such as eggs, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and more. If you are more in the mood for lunch and dinner check out an array of burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, or full meals like spaghetti, fried chicken, or skirt steak. View the full menu here.
