Photo by Mike Simons/Getty ImagesAs kindergarten students headed in for their first day of school in one Pennsylvania school district, some teachers may have thought they were seeing double. According to Good Morning America, that’s because there are 17 sets of twins all in kindergarten in the Colonial School District. Can you imagine?
The district, which is northwest of Philadelphia, says it’s the “highest number of twins in a single class” in their recent history. They’re even calling it the “twin-dergarten takeover.” The 34 twins are all attending three of the district’s five elementary schools, seven sets of twins are at Park Ridge Elementary, six sets are attending Whitemarsh Elementary, while Plymouth Elementary has four sets. How do you tell them all apart?
Brianna Cox’s five-year-old twins, Colton and Keegan, are one of the sets of twins starting at Park Ridge this fall. She jokes, “I guess there was something in the water back in 2016 or 2017 or 2018.” The boys’ new school also holds a special place in Brianna and her husband’s heart because it’s where they met each other years ago when they were first graders.
Speaking of "something in the water," I remember joking about that with my co-host Maney when he was telling me about one of his best friends from New Jersey. Apparently, the Northern Highland School District had 11 sets of twins graduate from Northern Highlands Regional High School this past summer. One set of twins being Maney's friends kids.
The craziest part is that even though that's a lot of twins, the record goes to the class of 2021 when they had 16 sets of twins graduate from the same school!
I have to laugh because as a parent, I had a hard time naming one baby at a time with my boys. With 2 I think I would have needed a little help. If you're a parent with twins on the way, I feel you! So here is a list of popular baby names to get the ideas flowing. Lord knows I would have needed it!

7 Corn Mazes To Check Out This Fall In The Charlotte North Carolina And Surrounding Area
Fall is here! Well at least according to the calendar. The weather may still be hot, but it's too late to wear white open-toed shoes. Which means pumpkins, football, outdoor fun, leaves, haunted attractions, and of course corn mazes! Corn mazes can challenge you, and be a great source of family fun or teambuilding. What's better than solving a problem (aka finding your way out of the "maize") with those around you? It's sure to bring lots of laughs and joy. And luckily there are several corn mazes in the Charlotte North Carolina area, so there is sure to be one you'll enjoy!
Many of these 7 farms listed below offer a variety of fall activities not just the corn maze (even if that's the draw). Many have hayrides and pumpkins (every good farm does!). Lots have kid-friendly corn mazes as well, in case that large one is just too much for your little one to handle! They also have slides, playgrounds, and petting zoos. Perhaps grab a bite from the food truck and just experience the fall weather. That fall weather, that is hopefully coming soon!
Of course, none of these farms are in the Charlotte city limits. Where could you possibly fit a multi-acre corn maze, let alone a farm, in the city? But all are well within a reasonable distance for a day trip. This includes areas like Concord, Lancaster, Huntersville, Maiden, and more. So take a look at these 7 corn mazes in the Charlotte North Carolina area. If you are planning to visit one of these tag us in your photos and let us know which is your favorite! Stay tuned for more fall content as well.
