They reportedly also have a Charlotte location at The Metropolitan as well as Middle C Jazz Club.

Jon Dressler tells the Charlotte Observer, “Dressler’s is a very special restaurant to us and we’re grateful to the community for the love and support since we opened the doors,Being our first restaurant, we did not take this decision lightly. The guests and team are our family, so this is by no means a goodbye to any of them.”

So what is going in that space at Lake Norman? Rare Roots  Hospitality will be opening a restaurant in that same space,  Fin and Fino. The plan is to renovate Dressler's, add some coastal inspired design and serve fresh seafood dishes as well as  homemade pastas and unique cocktails.

According to the Charlotte Observer, Birkdale Village is undergoing a lot of changes.  Business expansion is in the works, 17 openings are expected this year. Here's why this iconic North Carolina restaurant is closing after twenty years.   An official closing date for Dressler's has not been announced.
