Grilled Caprese Pierogies

Over the years I have dished up numerous delicious creations using Mrs. T's Pierogies for my Dishin' With Debbie series.   But, if you're new to the pierogy scene allow me to share how wonderful they can be.  First, Mrs. T's  Pierogies are soft, pillowy pasta pockets filled with fluffy whipped potatoes, cheese and other varieties of ingredients.  Imagine one of the best raviolis you ever ate.  And, the possibilities are endless for incorporating them into your everyday cooking.  Of course, Mrs. T's are delicious on their own just sauteed, boiled, deep fried, baked or grilled.  But, think outside the blue box and you'll be amazed.

This week's Dishin' With Debbie features Mrs. T's Pierogies starring in a Caprese Grilled Pierogies entree that's perfect for summer.  And, it's quick to put together for a weeknight family meal or weekend cook out.  Mrs. T's Pierogies make the perfect canvas for fresh summer tomatoes bursting with flavor.  And, the melty fresh mozzarella cheese is irresistible.  Throw in some fresh basil and a drizzle of sweet and tangy balsamic glaze.  Wow, it's fantastic with so many flavors and textures.

So, I hope you love Mrs. T's Caprese Grilled Pierogies as much as we did.  And, remember to look for Mrs. T's Pierogies in the freezer section of your favorite grocery store.  They come in a multitude of varieties in full size or minis.
