Charlotte One of the Worst U.S. Cities to Find True Love

Now, as a single person, reading this kind of worries me. But, then I realize I typically do long-distance dating anyways so maybe I will be a little okay. Love Net is doing a report on some of the best and worst cities for singles to find true love and I just had to take a look. It's a bit unfortunate that you have to consider these things, but the dating world is not the easiest nowadays. This is probably why I open my horizons to other cities than just the one I am living in.

When it comes to the worst cities for singles, sadly our beloved Charlotte made the list. That's right, Charlotte is considered one of the worst cities to find some love for singles. This is due to the lack of single residents that live here, which means there aren't many options for the singles to enjoy. Charlotte comes in at #71 in the U.S. for its number of single residents. Unfortunately, that means there are not many fish in the sea. So, what does this mean for us single folks?

While looking into the reasonings, Charlotte has a few reasons why single people say that the city isn't great for dating. Reasonings include people being focused on their careers, a high rate of STDs, more females than men, and the LGBTQ population is pretty low. This sounds like Charlotte is running out of good singles options. But, I am not too worried. My tip for the singles, start looking a little further out past the city limits.
