In a follow-up tweet, Rexha, 33, stated: “Human beings go through weight fluctuations it’s life and you don’t know what people are going through. Meds, disease, etc…” Back in 2019, the musician got candid with Cosmopolitan about the pressure to be thin and size discrimination in the fashion world. When she first got signed, Rexha recalled her label asking her if she was “ready to get in boot-camp shape.” They wanted her to lose 20 pounds when she only weighed 130 pounds at the time. She said that experience “f—ed” her up, and as a result, she would starve herself before filming a music video.

Bebe’s Update On Her Assault
The singer-songwriter also gave fans an update on how she has been recovering since a concertgoer threw their phone at her face. Resulting in a hospital trip and needing stitches, Rexha shared an image of her black and blue eye on Twitter. She said though her eye is bruised, she is feeling “much better.”
As we previously reported, the man who assaulted Bebe admitted he did it to “be funny.” After he threw his phone at her during a New York concert over the weekend, the singer collapsed to her knees on the stage floor. Footage from the incident shared on social media showed crew members rushing out to help her. The concert was then canceled and the man was arrested. He has since been charged with two counts of assault in the three degree, one count of harassment in the second degree, one count of aggravated harassment in the second degree, and one count of attempted assault in the third degree, per BBC.
