Did you watch “The Devil Wears Prada” and think Anne Hathaway’s character had a dream job you’d love to do? Well, now’s your chance. A job listing posted on Condé Nast’s careers site this week shows they’re looking for an assistant to support the editor-in-chief of American “Vogue” and the global chief content officer.

And the person who holds both of those titles happens to be Anna Wintour herself, so the assistant would be hers. In case you didn’t know, Lauren Weisberger, one of Wintour’s two assistants from 1999 to 2000 wrote the book, “The Devil Wears Prada,” based on her experience, which was then turned into a movie with Meryl Streep playing the Wintour-inspired boss. The gig had its glamorous side, but working for the most powerful woman in fashion definitely had its drawbacks, the book and film revealed.

According to the job posting:

  • The assistant’s responsibilities include handling communication for the global chief content officer’s office, managing event calendars and documenting meetings.
  • The minimum requirements include a year or two of experience in administrative support, strong writing and proofreading skills, as well as “impeccable attention to detail.”
  • The listing reads, “This is a tremendous opportunity for an ambitious, business-savvy professional who is passionate about culture, fashion, digital media and content.”
  • The New York City-based job pays between $60-thousand and $80-thousand.
