The NYPOST reports: According to the Social Security Administration, the “fastest rising” boys’ names heading into 2023 were “Dutton” and “Kayce.” Those names were inspired by the Paramount Network series “Yellowstone.” It’s not uncommon for pop culture to influence popular baby names. The parenting website Nameberry is predicting the top 23 baby names of 2023 would be influenced by celebrities like Billie Eilish, Dolly Parton, and Scarlett Johansson.
I remember a run on names like Britney, Mariah, Miley and Christina. Plenty of names come from TV shows and movies. Some couples name their kids after "Star Wars" or "Star Trek" characters...
