Charlotte area nurses can score free burritos from Chipotle! In celebration of National Nurses Week in May, Chipotle is offering free meals to healthcare workers and their teams. The Mexican chain plans to award 2-thousand winners with a Burrito Care Package, which includes 50 entree codes for their team, amounting to over $1-million in free food.
Healthcare professionals such as nurses, dentists, therapists, and pharmacists can enter the sweepstakes starting Thursday, May 4th. The submission period closes on May 12th, and winners will be contacted by Chipotle by May 19th.

Chris Brandt, Chief Marketing Officer at Chipotle, acknowledged the challenges healthcare workers face in finding time to bond or eat together. The Burrito Care Packages aim to provide healthcare teams with a convenient opportunity to share a meal.
Over the past several years, Chipotle has given away more than $4-million in free food to medical workers.
