Single and ready to mingle! Well, if you are a single person then you should know that there are a few cities that are perfect for you. Single people tend to flock to where other single people are. Why? Well, how else are you going to meet someone? If that is something that you are interested in. So if you are single and dating then you may want to know which North Carolina cities are claiming to have the most single folks living.

Thriving Center of Psychology is naming the cities with the most single people living there. With millions of single people living in the U.S., you have to be able to find your fish in this big ole sea. So, where do we start? Using data from the U.S. Census report, they have a list of the top 50 cities with the most single people. A few of your favorite North Carolina cities made the list as well. Can you guess which ones?

  • Greensboro, North Carolina came in at No. 22
  • Durham, North Carolina at No. 34
  • Winston Salem, North Carolina is No. 36

Looks like we have three different North Carolina cities where you may be able to meet a few more single people. There are a lot of factors that can influence your finding of that special someone you want to spend your life with. There are the superficial and looks but it's important. Other factors are personality, interests, career, and even location. Let's face it dating is easier when there are more options for places to go, people to meet, etc.

So states combine all of those qualities and therefore are ideal for singles? To answer that question, WalletHub compared the 50 states across 30 key indicators of dating-friendliness. The data set ranges from the share of single adults to online-dating opportunities to restaurants per capita.
