This is what one Mom did recently. Taylor was performing in Houston, which, why are we having school or going to work when Tay Tay is in town? She's posting up in major cities for multiple nights sending everyone into a frenzy for 3 days. Anyway, a Mother's first grader really wanted to go to the show and Mom was able to score tickets. It was then decided that she was going to allow her daughter to miss school. I totally agree with this. Traffic was probably bananas and the exhaustion from just the emotional impact of seeing Taylor Swift live had to have been overwhelming. Most people will need a day to recover from the full show she puts on. The mother wrote a note to the teacher apologizing for taking her daughter out of school for the once-in-a-lifetime concert opportunity.
