When it comes to video games, there’s one generation playing more than others, and that’s millennials! Yup, they’re playing more than Gen Zers. According to Magnetic Magazine and a new study from ExpressVPN, millennials are more likely on the daily to play video games.

Now, if you know me, I'm not a huge fan of video games. Probably because I couldn't pry my little brother away from them for about 30 years of his life, but I get it. It's an escape.

Here is exactly what the study found:

  • 68% of millennials said they play video games every day
  • 58% of Gen Zers had devoted time each day to play
  • Gen Zers are less likely to play at night compared to millennials

This may come as a surprise, but it shouldn’t be. Millennials grew up gaming! They saw as video games grew from classic, pixel games to something bigger. They’ve also seen their favorite childhood games and franchises get reinvented in today’s games.

Another thing? Millennials have more disposable income than Gen Zers, meaning they can spend more on gaming.
