The Biltmore Estate

It is a North Carolina must-see to visit the Biltmore Estate. A beautiful place to visit, it’s a very majestic and historic location. Located in Asheville, the estate spans 8,000 acres and dates back to the 1890s. The Biltmore has 43 bathrooms, 35 bedrooms, and 65 fireplaces, just to name a few features of its 180,000 square feet.

A new study is out that reveals the best places to explore in springtime in the world, according to TripAdvisor reviews, with six USA spots ranking in the top 10 places globally. Out of those six USA spots, two of them are located right here in the Carolinas.

Hotel Chain Premier Inn has analyzed over 34,000 TripAdvisor reviews to reveal the spring sights around the world people are raving about the most. New York's Central Park ranks as the best place to see in spring, but one North Carolina spot comes in right after that. The Biltmore in Asheville comes in at number two on this list.

The Biltmore in Asheville has the 'Biltmore Blooms' display showcasing thousands of bulbs, plants, shrubs and trees. So there's one Carolina. What about the other one? South Carolina makes this list as well, with the Magnolia Plantation & Gardens in Charleston.

These are two places that would make great weekend trips!
