In addition to performing seven tracks from her studio album, Cyrus has a special treat for her OG fans. She will perform her 2009 hit, “The Climb.” Her previous Backyard Sessions took place 10 years ago with covers of her favorite songs like her godmother Dolly Parton’s “Jolene,” Nina Simone’s “Lilac Wine,” and Melanie’s “Look What They’ve Done To My Song.”

On Cyrus’ music video for “Flowers,” she shaded her ex-husband Liam Hemsworth for cheating on her with 14 women. Showing stills from the upcoming music video, one fan wrote, “miley cyrus has filmed her newest music video for ‘RIVER’ in the same house of the Flowers video but with 14 men, 14 as the number of women that liam cheated on her with..she’s MESSY.”

Today, Cyrus talked about the song. She says it reflects a time in her life when she went through a lot emotionally and personally. It started as something that was a trouble, and using a metaphor to describe “RIVER,” the songwriter says, “It feels like it’s an April shower. It never stops raining. And then it started raining down like love.” The artist then says bluntly how “they” don’t want her to talk about her ex-husband, whose name gets censored. She adds with a face of disgust, “It’s f—ing nasty. It’s nasty.”

Giving fans more insight into how she constructed the sequencing of Endless Summer Vacation, the 30-year-old says it is divided in two parts: AM and PM. Cyrus says AM is more energetic and has the “potential of new possibilities.” PM is more of a slinky, seediness yet glamorously grimy. She adds the evening is either a time for rest and recovery or to go out and experience “the wild side.”
