Burger King Will Finally Add Spicy Chicken Fries To The Menu On March 6

According to mashed, Burger King has announced that a spicy version of BK Chicken Fries will be coming to menus nationwide at participating locations beginning March 6 through May 14, 2023. The original Chicken Fries were introduced in 2005 and were taken on and off of the menu until 2015 when they became a permanent offering.

Burger King fans are excited about the new spicy chicken fries with one Redditor chiming in with “I don’t expect [it] to be spicy but hopefully more flavor” and another saying “I’m a big fan of the chicken fries so I look forward to trying these out.” In the past, Burger King offered other variations of these including jalapēno chicken fries, pretzel chicken fries, and buffalo chicken fries but these will only be available for a limited time until the May 14 date.

In other Burger King news, Burger King Melts are returning to the Spring menu after first being introduced in 2022. There will be three versions – Classic Melt, Spicy Melt, and Bacon Melt. All three melts have two Whopper Jr. beef patties topped with melted American cheese and caramelized onions between two buns. The Classic Melt features Stacker sauce, the Spicy Melt has spicy sauce and jalapēnos and the Bacon Melt has standard toppings and bacon.
