Law Offices of James Scott Farrin released a list of North Carolina’s most dangerous countries for drivers. The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) collects statistics about accidents, injuries, and more to determine the rankings. Their rankings help us determine which cities are the most dangerous, but also safest for drivers. For the 2021 report, NCDOT determines that the most dangerous counties in North Carolina are:

  1. Robeson
  2. Scotland
  3. Edgecombe
  4. Vance
  5. Hoke

This report shows that these most dangerous counties are not the most populated counties in the state.
