Ashley Manning has the ability to make things happen.  Thanks to her huge heart and the drive to serve others, she was able to bring a whole lot of love on the day set aside just for that purpose.  This Charlotte, North Carolina woman delivered hundreds of flowers to local widows for Valentine's day.

She got the idea back in 2020 when she decided to make a floral bouquet and deliver to her son's teacher.  See, her son's teacher had just lost her husband to cancer and she wanted to make sure she had something with love on Valentine's day.  The teacher was so moved by Ashley's sweet and kind gesture, it got Ashley thinking.  What if I do this for as many widows as possible.

Ashley took to social media to see if anyone else would like to help make her dream go any farther.  It turns out plenty of people wanted to pitch in with their time and money.

This year Ashley and her team of volunteers were able to deliver 800 bouquets to widows and widowers! So now, instead of maybe feeling sad on Valentine's day, they had a reason to feel joy.  Ashley did that.

The Experts Say These Are The 13 Best Things To Do In Charlotte North Carolina

Often times when you live somewhere it's easy to get complacent and not take advantage of everything that location has to offer. And this list proves that for sure. I've lived in Charlotte for most of my life and still haven't checked off everything on this list. And some of them I haven't done since the school field trip days.
